LA Chargers Set To Headline DraftFest 2017 and Carson Community Day
The Los Angeles Chargers will headline DraftFest 2017 on Saturday, April 29 at the Stubhub Center on day three of the 2017 NFL Draft. The Chargers will also celebrate Carson Community Day with the City Mayor Albert Robles joining in the festivities.
The event is open to the public to include free admission and parking. Gates will open at 8 a.m. and festivities will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fans attending DraftFest should park in Lots 10, 11, and 12. Carson community leaders and residents are expected to partake in the event so early arrival is advised.
DraftFest will mark the first official public appearance for the Chargers' first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. A long list of current and former Chargers players will also be in attendance, signing autographs, taking pictures and interacting with fans.
The list of current Chargers confirmed to attend includes six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers, tight end Hunter Henry, running back Branden Oliver, fullback Derek Watt, cornerback Craig Mager and safety Adrian Phillips. Chargers alums slated to attend are five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Anthony Miller and three-time Pro Bowl special teams standout Kassim Osgood.
Live NFL Draft coverage will be broadcast across the screens throughout the stadium as Rivers will announce the Chargers' fourth-round draft selection live from the stage at DraftFest. Jim Hill, former safety for the Chargers, will serve as the emcee.

The 2017 NFL Draft will take place in Philadelphia beginning with Round 1 on Thursday, April 27. Season ticket holders are invited to the Round 1 draft party at Downtown Disney in Anaheim at the ESPN Zone.
Rounds 2 and 3 are set for Friday, April 28 with the final rounds 4 through 7 commencing on Saturday. The Chargers have a total of seven picks in this year's draft with one selection in each round, including the seventh overall pick in the first round.
The big introduction for the newest Bolts rookie will be introduced by A.G. Spano, the Chargers President of Business Operations, during a press conference in the American Express Stadium Club inside the stadium.
