Exactly a week later, the nation is still amazed by one of the most remarkable performances in high school basketball, becoming one of the best performances by an individual in all of high school sports.
The sophomore even has celebrities and college star athletes tweeting about the game.
Charles Barkley. Lonzo Ball. Jarred Goff. Even Todd Gurley.
UCLA guard and brother Lonzo Ball tweeted, "That's one way to bounce back after a loss."
With his brother LiAngelo sidelined due to an ankle injury, Ball scored 92 points in just 32 minutes. Making 37 of 61 field goal attempts, LaMelo had 29 points at the half. Way to overcome a loss and continue to play with a vengeance.

Ball did break two individual state scoring records. He now holds the record for most points scored in a half with 62, and most points scored in a quarter with 41. Prior to, the record was held by Vince Manino of San Pedro's Fermin Lauren with 35 points in a quarter, which was set in 1965 in a 120-31 win over Crespi.
Ball used the media attention to dedicate the game to a Chino Hills classmate and student, Alexis Anderson, who was in the hospital after being diagnosed with a rare heart condition.
His teammates, aware of the situation, encouraged him to keep shooting as the points piled up, Ball said.
Currently listed as the No. 16 recruit in the 2019 ESPN 100, the 6 foot 2 guard has gone on to commit to UCLA, where he will join and once again play alongside his brothers Lonzo and LiAngelo.
LiAngelo, the middle brother of the Ball family, scored a season high of 72 points in a game earlier this season. He will sit out the next couple of weeks to rest for the playoffs to recover from his injury, giving LaMelo more freedom on the offense.
Chino HIlls is expected to be the No. 2 seed for the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs behind Sierra Canyon.
