OCEANSIDE, CA – After successful performances in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and the Reese's Senior Bowl, Memphis Tiger senior cornerback Arthur Maulet has earned and accepted his invitation to the NFL Combine, which is set to take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 28 to March 6.
Maulet will have the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of NFL coaches, scouts and staff. He will also be granted the opportunity to perform drills and scrimmages in order for these skills to be seen. The former Tiger will also be given the chance to conduct interviews and increase his media appearance before live reporters and major media outlets.
Because of injuries, Maulet was a late addition to the Senior Bowl, where he joined teammate and kicker Jake Elliott. He recorded three tackles alone despite only getting one practice in.
The previous week, he finished with three solo tackles and three assisted tackles during the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
Maulet is looking to impress NFL teams that will market his skills and increase his draft stock. After the Combine, he will enter his name in the draft, which kicks off April 27.
